Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about The Bridge experience

General Questions

What is The Bridge?+
The Bridge is a global communal experience of remembrance, healing, and unity created in response to the events of October 7 and the extraordinary resilience that followed. Built around a powerful documentary following ten young Israeli survivors of the October 7 attacks as they journey toward healing through music, The Bridge offers communities a meaningful and customizable way to commemorate October 7 through shared experience, reflection, and hope.
Is The Bridge simply a film screening?+
No. While the documentary is the heart of the experience, The Bridge is a fully curated communal event package that includes exclusive filmed introductions, interviews, celebrity participation embedded within the program, a special surprise musical tribute, promotional materials, and event planning support.
Who can host The Bridge?+
Approved host organizations may include: Synagogues, Jewish Federations, JCCs, Hillels, Chabad centers, Jewish day schools, Universities and colleges, Campus organizations, Israel advocacy organizations, Faith communities, Community organizations, and other mission-aligned organizations.
Do organizations need to be approved?+
Yes. Because The Bridge is a curated communal initiative, organizations must first complete the approval process so our team can ensure alignment with the mission and spirit of the program.
How quickly will we hear back after applying?+
Our team will review your organizational application and respond within 48 hours with next steps.

Preview Questions

Can we preview the full film before committing?+
Yes. Anyone visiting the website may watch the official trailer. Organizations interested in hosting The Bridge may complete the approval process. Once approved, qualified organizations may request secure, watermark-protected preview access to the full film for internal review and planning purposes. Preview access is intended solely for organizational evaluation and may not be shared or publicly screened.

Scheduling Questions

Does our event need to take place on October 7?+
The Bridge was specifically created as a communal commemorative experience surrounding October 7. While many communities may choose to host on October 7 itself, we recognize that scheduling realities, holiday calendars, venue availability, and organizational considerations may make nearby dates more practical. Approved organizations may host during the commemorative period surrounding October 7 in a way that best serves their audience.
Can we host before October 7?+
Yes. Approved organizations may host during the commemorative period leading up to October 7.
Can we host after October 7?+
Yes. Approved organizations may host during the commemorative period immediately following October 7.
Can we host more than one screening?+
Yes. Communities interested in multiple screenings, donor gatherings, leadership events, student audiences, or customized event structures are encouraged to contact our team.

Event Experience Questions

What is included in the hosting package?+
Approved hosts receive: The full screening experience of The Bridge, exclusive filmed introductions and interview content, celebrity participation embedded within the program, a surprise musical tribute filmed in southern Israel, marketing and promotional materials, social media assets, event planning support, customization opportunities, and optional enhancement opportunities.
Can we personalize the event?+
Absolutely. Communities are encouraged to create an experience that best reflects their audience, leadership, and local goals.
Are celebrity appearances included?+
Celebrity participation is included within the curated program experience itself through filmed content, introductions, interviews, and featured moments. Live in-person celebrity appearances are separate optional enhancements and subject to availability.
Can we request live guests?+
Yes. Approved organizations may explore live or virtual appearances by Kevin S. Bright, David Fishof, survivors, musicians, featured participants, or other special guests. Availability and additional appearance fees may apply.

Financial Questions

How are hosting fees structured?+

Who receives the hosting payment?+

Community Collaboration Questions

Can more than one organization in the same city host The Bridge?+
Absolutely. The Bridge was created to unite communities, not divide them. Whenever possible, we strongly encourage organizations within the same city or region to collaborate with one another to maximize participation, strengthen partnerships, and create the broadest communal impact. At the same time, larger communities may benefit from multiple screenings serving different audiences.
Can multiple organizations collaborate on one event?+
Yes. Joint hosting partnerships are strongly encouraged.

Campus Questions

Yes. Approved Hillel, Chabad, and campus organizations receive a special flat-rate hosting option of $500, with no attendance cap.
Can non-Jewish students attend?+
Absolutely. Campuses are encouraged to welcome Jewish students, allies, faculty, administrators, and campus leadership.
